About Kristi Newman

I grew up in an entrepreneurial family where business wasn’t theory — it was lived.

From a young age, I learned sales, leadership, and responsibility by being inside real businesses. Over time, that grew into owning and operating businesses, leading sales-driven teams, and working directly with the pressures that come with performance, growth, and decision-making.

Leadership, to me, has never been abstract.
It’s been practical, measurable, and tied to results.

At the same time, I’ve spent decades training horses and riders — working daily with animals that don’t respond to titles, explanations, or authority. Horses respond to clarity, consistency, emotional control, and timing. When those are missing, the feedback is immediate.

That combination matters.

Running businesses taught me how leadership impacts revenue, execution, and culture.


Training horses taught me how leadership is actually received — before words ever matter.

Why Horses

Horses are not a metaphor in this work.


They are a live feedback system.

Each horse has a distinct personality, sensitivity, and way of responding to pressure. Some are forward and confident. Some are cautious. Some notice subtle emotional shifts instantly. Others require absolute clarity and consistency.

We intentionally work with different horses for different exercises because leadership leaks show up differently depending on the system you’re leading.

A leader who appears calm with one horse may become rushed or controlling with another.
